This is my solution for the coil at this time. The coil is a 40's coil that came with the car. It was missing the top and cable to the stock ignition. So I used the cable for an aftermarket key system and found an object for the top of the coil somewhat like the original piece of equipment. I believe this will work fine for now.

The grill was in need of rework. I have chosen not to rechrome the grill. What I did do was go thru the whole process of refinishing it with paint.  The final layer is a Chrome paint. I was very please with the final results.
I completed rebuilding the dash and instruments. The last picture is what I started with. All gages were disassembled and restored.

The carburator for the 33 was rebuilt with out any problems.
The first problem I faced was the distributor would not slid down all the way into it's shaft. This slide show the area causing the problem. This slide show demonstrates the first problem I faced when I finally got back to the 33 renovation. The distributor would not slide into its proper place.

I had quite a recess from the 33. Several other duties became the order of the day. However I'm back at the 33 again and enjoying the work. In this picture I've assembled all the sheet metal and many of the electrical and mechanical parts to see what I might need to continue the project. My goal for this session of work is to get it running.
